Every year, Julian House hosts a fundraising event, whereby people challenge themselves to sleep outside for one night in Alice Park to raise vital funds and awareness for men and women who are forced to do so every night. This year, due to the government restrictions, the charity challenged people to sleep out in their garden instead.

On Friday night, Eli and his family braved sub-zero temperatures to take part in The Big Bath Sleep Out at home. They set up a fort in his garden made of cardboard and tarp and slept under the starts for the night.

As well as raising awareness for homelessness in Bath, our Year 5 pupil and his family managed to raise over £1,000 for Julian House!

"A really humbling experience, with the challenges COVID has placed upon us all it is so easy to forget about those far less fortunate than ourselves." - Eli's Dad
