A bit about me

Ambition or talent: which matters more?

Ambition.

Where are you most happiest?

Home.

What motivates you?

A desire to be better than yesterday.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Enjoy it and don't stress about silly friendship disagreements.

What do you do to relax?

Walk the dog.

What is your greatest achievement so far?

Really, it's getting to where I am without a degree or any form of higher education.

If your younger self could see you now, what would they think?

"Get in!!"

What is the greatest challenge of our time?

Not overthinking everything!

My career journey so far

What was your earliest ambition?

To have my own family.

In another life, your career would have been?

An actress.

Who was or still is your mentor?

Darrell Harding!! (Head of Boarding at Kingswood School)

Life at Kingswood

How would you describe Kingswood School to family and friends?

It was a major part in making me the person I am today. To me, it is like home.

Which three words describe Kingswood School and why?

All Round Excellence.

How would you describe being part of the Kingswood Community?

A joy.

How long have you been at Kingswood?

From 2003 - 2010 and then as the Actor in Residence from 2013-2015.

A bit of advice

If you could give one piece of career advice to a young person, what would it be?

You might not need a degree to get to where you want to go. 

If you could give one piece of life advice to a young person, what would it be?

Try not to over analyse everything. You are on your own life path. Sometimes it will be in the direction you want with the people you want but sometimes it will go off kilter. It is your life path that matters most. Trust in your decisions and you will ultimately be happy.
