The Chapel's Centenary

It was wonderful to welcome the wider Kingswood community, staff, students, alumni and our friends across Bath and beyond, to the Chapel to celebrate its centenary on the 16th June. The opportunity to come together for a moment of reflection, to hear the joyful voices of the Kingswood Prep School Choir, to listen to a beautiful piano duet from Alyssa and Gordon, and to join in the singing of “And Can It Be” was very special. The lighting of a centenary candle, hearing from Rev Simon Topping on the history of the Chapel, as well as voices of Alumni via a brilliant video created by some of our Year 10s, rounded of a beautiful evening. Returning to the Dining room, the cutting of a fantastic cake was the culmination of a joyous evening.
