New Friends And New Beginnings

We welcomed our new Year 12s to their Sixth Form Welcome Day at Kingswood. Throughout the morning, students had the chance to experience year 12 lessons in the subjects they are planning to take for A level.

Following lunch, there was a short talk to explain the Super-Curriculum Programme that is on offer to our Sixth form, including the EPQ (Extended Project Qualification), AFA (Apprentice in Fine Arts) in Creative Writing and the many other opportunities students have to build varied experience. After this, students stretched their legs and enjoyed team-building exercises with the Problem Solving Company it was great to see new friendships form over the afternoon.

To finish, students enjoyed a well-deserved burger in the Sixth Form Dining Room!

We look forward to seeing all our Year 12s together again in September.
