Year 9 Activity Afternoon
On Friday, we took all Y9 students to the Upper to take part in an afternoon of team building and fun games. Mixing with peers outside of class and house groups, it was a great opportunity for students to spend time with different people in their year group.
The sun was shining, and the students enjoyed a rotation of 5 activities including Capture the flag, a blindfolded sheep herding challenge, ultimate frisbee, five bat rounders and the inflatable obstacle course with a bungee eliminator. The afternoon finished with brownies and a drink before heading back down the hill to school.
A great way to end a busy week and we hope that new Y9 students in particular found it helpful in getting to know more faces. With thanks to all the staff and Y9 tutors who gave up their time to come and help run this event.
