Drama trip – The Effect at The National Theatre:

On Wednesday of last week, the U6th Drama cohort went to The National Theatre to watch "The Effect" by Lucy Prebble.

It was well worth the journey, and we were all moved by the intense exploration of love and neuroscience. The chemistry between the characters felt palpable, blurring the lines between reality and the effects of a drug trial. The set design was minimalist yet effective, allowing the powerful dialogue to take centre stage. The play seamlessly blended science and heart, leaving us both intellectually stimulated and emotionally moved.

The U6th Drama class looks forward to staging "The Effect" for their text in performance exam next term. Many thanks to Ms Brayton and Mr Francis for taking the trip.
