Westwood Boarders Raise Funds In Pride Month

June was Pride month and our Computer Science Teacher, Mrs Solomon-Gardner, has been selling Pride ribbons to raise money for Off The Record, Bath – a local mental health and well-being support service for young people.

Several of our Westwood boarders felt compelled to help Mrs Solomon-Gardner with raising money for this excellent organisation by making their own Pride-themed jewellery to give to other pupils and staff in exchange for a small donation.

Over the course of three weeks, the eleven Year 7 boarders have spent time in the evenings and weekends making a range of colourful bracelets, anklets and badges.

A huge well done to Michelle, Miyansa, Kripa, Gareima, Cynthia, Aditi, Vera, Jewel, Jenisha, Nishchala and Swasi for their superb efforts!
