Sixth Form Drama

Last week, our Year 13 Drama students were finally able to complete the performance of their devised piece worth 40% of the total A-Level mark, which was initially due to take place in the summer .

The students created a verbatim piece of theatre in the style of 'The Paper Birds' theatre company and collected first hand reports and dialogue from those who had experience of being ‘scammed’. With its central message of ‘it could happen to you’, the performers, Annie, Bea, Ethan and Lulu, were supported by lighting designer Sam.

Our Head of Drama Mrs Nash would like to thank everyone who contributed to the project, particularly Mr Hollywell who generously shared some personal experiences, which formed the backbone of the piece.

We hope to be able to share the piece with the rest of the Kingwood community very soon – performing without an audience is just not the same!
