The final weekend of the season saw some positive results for our Rugby teams against traditionally strong opponents in Bishop Wordsworth.

Kingswood won nine of the 13 matches including really hard fought wins for the U13As, who finished 40-35 and the U12Bs who played a similarly tight game.

Despite losing, Sam scored four tries for the U13Bs and Rob scored a hat-trick for the U15As in another good win.

The U14As were a contender for team of the week as they won 31-7 to top off a fine second half of the season and all three Senior teams finished with victories which was a fitting end for the numerous Year 13s in these teams.

Team of the week, however, goes to the 1st XV, who proved themselves after a tough season as they ran in four tries in a 22-14 win and demonstrated plenty of really good individual performances.

Matthew had his best game, Josh played well and Darcy was strong in the first half before injury ended his game.

Charlie and Marcus ran well with the ball and Ethan controlled the midfield in both defence and attack.

A good team performance to finish the season.
