Almost £8000 Raised At Annual Malawi Market

The annual Malawi Market took place on Friday evening with 44 stalls set out in the Theatre and Dining Hall.

The Kingswood Charity Stall was located in the Theatre Foyer which was selling a number of products that had been brought back from Malawi and had been upcycled.

Visitors were also treated to mulled wine, coffee, cake and a BBQ with some amazing street food in the Theatre Quad.

The Market opened at 6:30pm and was busy throughout the evening.

The evening concluded with the raffle which had a number of amazing prizes, including a chalet for 12 people in France for one week, a pair of Ashley Young’s boots that he wore at the World Cup and hospitality tickets for Bath Rugby.

Almost £8000 was raised with some more money still to be collected.

This sum will help Open Arms continue with their great work in Malawi.
