Sixth Formers Explore Career Opportunities At Theatrecraft Fair

Last Monday, six Sixth Form students travelled to the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden to attend Theatrecraft, an annual career fair featuring representatives from top universities and members of the theatre industry.

Students were able to explore potential opportunities in technical and backstage careers by taking part in workshops on a range of topics including 'fantasy make-up’, 'how to become a producer’ and ‘lighting, from page to stage’.

They were also able to join either a tour around The Royal Opera House or a demonstration of the costumes and puppets from The Lion King.

All participants found the career fair inspiring and informative.
