Senior Drama

Last week, A Level Drama students travelled to the V&A Museum in London to watch a screening of ‘Jerusalem’ starring Mark Rylance.

The play was hugely entertaining and provided the students with an excellent production to write about in their written examination.

After watching the play they had time to explore the museum, including the exhibits in the Theatre and Performance gallery.

This involved being able to see up close ‘Baby Joey’ – one of the full sized puppet horses from ‘War Horse’, costumes from The Lion King, a number of award statuettes including an ‘Oscar’ and a ‘BAFTA’, and some highly impressive model boxes from a variety of iconic performances.

Mrs Nash, Head of Drama and Theatre Studies, would like to thank the students for their excellent company and Miss Kenny for accompanying the trip.
