On Thursday, the Seniors had a tough block against Marlborough College.

The 1st VII were one goal behind after three quarters but unfortunately could not take the lead and lost by four points.

Maya and Rosie were dynamic in the circle and Annie supported the play through court.

The 3rd VII had the best result of the afternoon and drew 15-15 and Charlotte was pivotal in defence.

The Year 7s competed in their House Matches with the Bs being an evenly matched fixture.

Both sides struggled to capitalise on possession and with some slight adjustments in the second quarter, Hamilton streaked ahead scoring seven goals in 10 minutes with Aimee finding her shooting rhythm.

Emily was dynamic in the mid court and made some great interceptions.

Despite winning the third quarter, Beckford couldn’t do enough to clinch the victory and Hamilton romped home with a five-goal lead.

The A match was goal for goal in the first quarter.

For Hamilton, Ella was instrumental in defence and Maddie showed her versatility at either end. Beckford’s stand out players were Avantika and Iona.

It was 2-2 after the first quarter but Hamilton pulled away in the second and third.

The final quarter was exciting with Beckford scoring four goals on the trot.

They couldn’t quite catch Hamilton who won 12-10.
