Kingswood showed some strong play in block fixture against Colston's on Saturday.

Although the 1st XV lost a tight contest with the last play of the game, all A & B teams in Years 7-10 won comfortably.

The Westwood teams had to contend with gloomy weather conditions in the morning but still produced some excellent rugby to pick up four wins out of five.

The U12A’s played an excellent second half to pull away from decent opposition with Ollie and Jack really impressing.

For the U13B’s, Ed scored a hat-trick and Terence picked up his first try for the school.

This week team of the week went to the U15B’s who secured a convincing victory over a strong Colston’s team.

The platform was laid by the forwards and Ricky showed real effort with some superb hits.

With a quick ball, the backs were able to run through, round and over their opposite numbers.

They scored 7 tries, an excellent effort which started with some strong running from Will, and was executed with quick hands and well-timed running.

Whilst the Man of the Match award could easily have gone to the whole team, Josh secured that honour with an incredible try-saving cover tackle in the corner.
