Before half term, 16 pupils and two staff travelled to King Edward’s for this year’s Youth Climate Summit.

The student organised event brings together pupils from across Bath and North East Somerset to hear from environmental and business leaders, engage in workshops and take part in stimulating debate.

This year’s Summit was superb as the group were treated to inspiring talks from individuals such as Johnathon Porritt, Chairman of the Green Party, and Juliet Davenport, CEO of Good Energy.

The pupils also participated in workshops, including raw chocolate making, meditation and introduction to activism.

They also debated topics such as ‘To what cost is the environment worth saving?’

The event was a great success and is open to all students across the area to get involved with facilitating or simply attending.
