Kingswood Enjoy Two Evenly Matched Fixtures Against Beechen Cliff

Kingswood enjoyed two evenly matched football fixtures against Beechen Cliff on the Thursday before half term.
The 1st XI fared well in a tight match that remained 0-0 until the final 10 minutes.
Sam was able to poach a goal following a misjudgement by the goalkeeper which gave Kingswood the advantage.
Some excellent defending from the School’s back four prevented the home team from equalising and Kingswood held on for a fine 1-0 win reversing the score of the same fixture last year.
Meanwhile, the 2nd XI took the lead through Alban but lost concentration at the end of the match to allow Beechen to equalise.
The final score stayed at 1-1 with neither team able to find a breakthrough in the final few minutes.
