Kingswood Earth Day Returns

Last Friday, pupils and staff participated in ‘Kingswood Earth Day’ in the glorious sunshine.
The focus this year was on the much-heralded green recovery from the current pandemic and aimed to encourage pupils to think about how we can all be more sustainable.
A number of fun activities were held in a COVID-secure environment, including the ever-popular a ‘Hang like an orang-utan’ challenge (raising funds for the Orangutan Foundation), a pupil-powered smoothie making bike, and t-shirt painting with an eco-friendly twist.
A big thank you to all those who took part and to the members of the Sustainable Development Society for organising the event!
