Composting our Food Waste

Kingswood is committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2030 and has implemented several initiatives to reach this goal. Our Kingswood Eco Alliance (KEA) is working with the Catering and Gardening Departments to compost all of our food waste and use it to fertilise our gardens and grounds. The Alliance have been collecting fruit and vegetable peelings for the Gardening Club's compost heap, which now looks a lot like vegetable soup!
These small steps are leading to big change - well done everyone!
