It’s been a very busy few weeks in the Careers department which started with the Year 11 Careers Workshop at the Pavilion.

Students worked hard to better understand their personalities and values in order to think more carefully about the type of work they might like to consider in the future.

The group facilitators, Tinker Tailor, all remarked upon the polite, enthusiastic Year 11s they worked with, and 97% of pupils said they would definitely use what they had learned on the day in the future.

Lower Sixth students also had the opportunity to meet a number of people from a wide range of careers including medicine, television, journalism, entrepreneurship and the Armed Forces during their recent Careers Seminars.

Mrs Pasco, Head of Careers, has thanked Lucy, Careers Prefect, for all her hard work in helping organise the logistics of the events, and in gathering together a terrific team of students to host the guests.
