On Saturday, nine Year 12 students attended an Economics Conference in London where they listened to nine well-known keynote speakers.

Speakers included Tim Harford who is an Economics author, journalist and Radio 4 presenter. He discussed how the economic world has not yet fully harnessed the full capability of technology.

Students also listened to Raj Chande who discussed how the work of Behavioural Economics leads to people making decisions with improved outcomes for society.

Dr Linda Yueh from Oxford University summarised her new book which discusses why the theories of past economists are still relevant today.
