In Girls’ tennis, Kingswood had the better of both of their block fixtures against Bryanston and St. Mary’s. Both schools have good tennis reputations so it is an impressive achievement for Kingswood's teams to win both blocks 4-2.

The 1st VI have been named Team of the Week after they travelled to Bryanston and played on the unfamiliar grass surface. A very even match went right down to the wire with Ellie and Ella holding their nerve to secure the final decisive set with a perfectly judged lob.

The U12s won the only clean sweep of the day with Hayley and Imogen in particularly fine form whilst the U13As and U13Bs enjoyed two hard fought wins.

The U14 teams performed well with Bella and Alice standing out for the As, and Thea and Olivia for the Bs.

The Tennis Club have also made one Full Colours award to Ella who has been a key player alongside Ellie in a successful season for the 1st team.

In Boys’ tennis, there were superb midweek wins for the Westwood A and B teams against Prior Park, winning 8-1 and 6-3 respectively. Against the same opposition, the U15s lost narrowly and the U14s did well to win 4-3.

The 1st and 2nd VI both narrowly lost to Dauntsey’s with both matches going to tie breaks. Meanwhile, the pairs of Fin and Louis and Aves and Ken won two of their three matches to give the 3rd VI and 8-1 win.
