We know that food is one of the highlights of the school day for many students. Here at Kingswood, we are fortunate to have an excellent Catering department that produces homemade meals onsite using as many locally sourced ingredients as possible.
There are three meals a day, mid-morning and afternoon snacks, boarding house snacks, match teas, special occasion events and House dinners to serve our population of more than 1,000 students and 200 staff, which is all cooked and prepared by 12 specialised chefs at and a team of catering staff.
Students have a wide selection of meal options, including two or three hot meal choices every day, vegetarian options, salads, soup and a deli bar, as well as tasty puddings, yoghurt and fruit. The Catering department is happy to accommodate those with allergies and intolerances, as well as students who cannot eat certain foods due to religious or other beliefs. At mealtimes, everyone eats together in our stunning traditional Dining Hall.
