The Kingswood Off-Road Race

The Kingswood Off-Road Race
Senior Sports

During the Autumn and Spring term, many of our pupils choose Cross Country as their choice of sport.

A challenging and rewarding activity that improves physical and mental health in many ways. Our Year 13 captains, Grace and Tobina, lead a dedicated team of runners far and wide to compete in races across the South West.

Our 120-acre site is perfect for training and offers the opportunity to host our own fixtures, including the BANES Cross Country Championships and our newly developed course, The Kingswood Off-Road Race, spanning 2.6 - 5.2km uphill.

Congratulations to our joint winners, Pippa and Charlie, and captains Grace and Tobina, who came 2nd and 3rd in the senior girls race. Stan and Freddie also deserve a special mention by coming 4th and 5th in the senior boys race, against tough competition from Monkton, Prior Park and KES. Thank you to all who joined us and we look forward to welcoming you again next year!
