The U15As have been named Team of the Week after they beat a strong Beechen Cliff side by seven runs in a thrilling match.

Kingswood made 96 thanks to a patient 18 from Edgar and a quick 21 from Sam. The boys bowled and fielded well thanks to Harry and Josh before Sam came on and took three crucial wickets.

Ed captained the team sensibly and bowled an excellent 18th over which turned the game in Kingswood’s favour.

Elsewhere, the 1st XI beat Prior Park thanks to a match-saving inning of 42 not out from Will.

The U13s also won again as Louis and Noah produced another century opening stand, both passing 50 in the process and Harry, who was named Man of the Match, took three wickets.

The U13Bs bowled out their opponents for 28 to cruise to a 10-wicket win and the U14s won their cup match against Downend by 120 runs.

In Girls’ cricket, the U12 and U13 teams enjoyed clean sweeps against their counterparts from King Edward’s.

The U15s won comfortably against the Royal High School with Iris and Lottie both batting well whilst Beth kept wicket well and Madi impressed with her bowling.
