ASSISTANT CHEF

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Chef with expertise and ideas looking to join an outstanding and dedicated in-house catering team? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Whilst you will normally be working in the Kingswood Prep School, preparing meals for our younger pupils, you will be part of the wider team supporting the Kingswood community. The School is set on the north side of Bath in beautiful buildings and grounds.

The hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only. The position offers a salary of £13,861 per annum including holiday pay and a number of other attractive benefits; uniform is provided and laundered, and meals on duty are available.

VISITING PIANO TEACHER

We are seeking an experienced, engaging and motivated teacher of piano on a self-employed basis to teach individual music lessons in our strong and very successful Music Department.

If you have proven ability of teaching a wide range of children at all levels, from beginner to advanced grades, we would love to hear from you.

There are currently around 4 x 30-minute lessons available per week, and you will be encouraged and supported in recruiting new pupils and be available to increase your teaching hours.

KITCHEN PORTER

We are looking to appoint a Kitchen Porter to enhance our kitchen team within our busy catering department. The successful candidate will ideally have experience and cleaning skills.

This is a full time post working 40 hours a week, Monday to Thursday (with alternate Friday/Sunday), term time only (34 weeks). This is a fixed term appointment for one year.

HOUSEKEEPER

(Part-time)

We are looking to appoint a part-time Housekeeper to join our Domestic team. The position is based at Kingswood Senior School, set in beautiful grounds and buildings on the North side of Bath.

The successful candidate will be approachable and organised with the ability to work well as a self-motivated and committed member of the team. With good overall knowledge and experience of high standards of cleaning, you will work closely with House Parents and other Housekeepers/Matrons to play a key role in the day to day running of the Boarding House during term time, and support across the school site during vacation periods.

Responsibilities include cleaning, checking laundry in and out, monitoring house food supplies and preparing termly pupil charge lists for submission to the Domestic Bursar.

Hours of work are 18 hours per week over 3 days, all year round.
