Kingswood Prep School - 1:1 Learning Support Assistant

Kingswood Prep is a happy and thriving school. For September 2019 we are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 in-class support to facilitate learning, communication and support for children with specific additional learning needs.  

The successful candidate will be child-centred, enthusiastic and committed to inclusive education and ideally have some experience of working in a similar role. 

35 hours per week, 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

This is a fixed term position initially for the 2019/20 academic year, with potential to extend.

The salary is competitive depending on qualifications and experience.

Kingswood Senior School - Drama Assistant

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and skilled Drama Assistant to join our thriving and creative theatrical department from September 2019 to July 2020. This position would suit Drama graduates with ambitions to teach or direct young people.  Actors or Directors looking to move into teaching would also be well suited to this position. This is a term time post working 40 hours per week, which will include some evenings and weekends.

Principal of the Kingswood Foundation and Head of the Senior School (Head)

Learning Support Teacher

We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced teacher to work in the Learning Support Department supporting pupils with a range of Specific Learning Difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, ASD or ADHD to ensure that they are able to reach their full academic potential.

The successful candidate must have a qualification in teaching pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties as well as relevant experience. In addition, a postgraduate SpLD Level 7 qualification or equivalent which allows them to assess for access arrangements, would be an advantage.

Kingswood Senior School - Teacher of Art (part-time)

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and motivational Art Teacher who is prepared to go the extra mile for our students. You should have a dynamic, innovative approach to the teaching of Art and be able to inspire curiosity and confidence in others. The ideal candidate will have experience in Fine Art, be suitably qualified, and happy to be involved in extra-curricular activities. This is a part-time post teaching 10 lessons per week, required for September 2019.

Evening Cleaner (part-time)

We are looking to appoint a Cleaner for general cleaning duties in our Domestic Services team.

The position is based in Kingswood Senior School and Pavilion, set in beautiful grounds and buildings on the North side of Bath.

The post is part-time, between 20 and 30 hours per week, across weekday evenings, term time only, plus 8 weeks in the School holiday periods.
