Friends of Kingswood Prep School
Friends of Kingswood Prep School is a lively group of parents who work in partnership with the School to organise fundraising and social events throughout the academic year. As well as raising money for the School, these events ensure that families come together and feel welcome as part of the Kingswood community. Past events have included a Christmas Fayre, quiz nights, a themed dinner and dance, a children’s disco, a comedy night and various book and cake sales.
We receive a wide variety of requests for the use of these funds and consider all of them, however large or small. Friends of Kingswood Prep School discusses requests and agree upon funding allocation at committee meetings.
Some examples of projects we have supported and items we have purchased recently include the new School playground (complete funding), the outdoor classroom in the secret garden (complete funding), the new adventure playground in the garden of High Vinnalls (complete funding), new musical instruments, metal detectors for the Archaeology Club and new iPads for the Pre-Prep.
The Nearly New Uniform Shop
Friends of Kingswood Prep School manages the sales of nearly new uniforms each term. Good quality current uniforms are offered, as well as some Hockey equipment. The
Items to Donate
If parents would like to donate any items at the Nearly New Shop, please deliver the items to the shop during opening hours or wrap carefully in water proof bags and use the red bin in the woodland car park.
