Kingswood’s renowned in-house catering team specialises in fine dining and event catering and offers first-class cuisine for all occasions.
Perfectly situated just outside of Bath city centre, Kingswood School compromises three
campuses: the Preparatory School, the Senior School and Upper Playing Fields. Each is unique, and
together they offer a range of facilities suitable for a variety of events, including conferences,
parties, corporate events, weddings, theatre performances and residential courses.
Kingswood is proud to have a dedicated and professional catering team who have a wealth of
expertise in fine dining and event catering. Led by our Catering Manager and Wedding Coordinator,
Sharon Traylor, Executive Chef, Adrian Fairlie and Head Chef, Tami Fairlie, the team work closely with local suppliers to provide menus with a focus on fresh produce that are not only interesting and of
the highest quality, but are designed for you to savour and remember.

Conferences:
The Pavilion is the perfect venue for conferences and company away days. The bar room can
accommodate 30 people and function room can hold up to 100. Our bar room has a brand new 65
inch TV and AV system, perfect for meetings and training.
Parties
The pavilion is the perfect setting for birthday parties and celebrations. The event room can hold up
to 100 people seated and the bar room up to 30. The fully stocked bar is managed by Kingswood
staff and our in house catering team can offers a wide selection of high quality options. The pavilion
is also wheelchair accessible, with a lift to the top floor and accessible toilet and the site offers 80
car parking spaces.
Situated in our prep school, the Association Hall is also a great space to host your child’s birthday
party.
Weddings:
Kingswood offers 2 unique venues to choose from for your wedding reception, Summer Hill Mansion
and The Kingswood Dining Room.
Summerhill Mansion, a traditional Georgina house with a Grande Veranda overlooking a sward of lawn
with views over Bath City centre, is our most popular wedding venue. The mansion has 2 large halls
and can accommodate up to 100 people (seated). The Dining Room is located within Kingswood School
and is the perfect setting for a winter or spring wedding.
The Dining Room seats up to 210 and is reminiscent of the dining hall at Hogwarts, with a stunning
entrance and beautiful lawns to the front.
Ex-pupils and members of staff may be married in our beautiful private chapel located within the
School’s extensive grounds. Our Chaplain is pleased to discuss this option with those eligible, please
get in touch for more information.
Theatre:
Our theatre is the ideal location to hold your production and rehearsal, with a capacity of 450,
accessibility for wheelchairs and onsite parking. Kingswood Theatre has two small dressing rooms
with private WC’s. a foyer with a lockable bar/kitchen area, and is well equipped with lighting, sound
and AV facilities with technical support. Kingswood Theatre is also an excellent space for hosting
drama, dance, music, conferences, seminars, training and more. Please note that our theatre is only
available to hire outside of term time.
