Great Dance Moves And Singing At The House Music Competition

The Senior houses (years 9 – 13) gathered in their pairs yesterday for the annual house music competition. A lot of work went into matching a dance routine with the house song, whilst all ensembles worked hard on their chosen piece. School and Upper once again won the ensemble prize with their performance of Put Your Records On, and their rendition of Blame It on the Boogie was excellent. Boarding and Day houses, Middle and Summerhill's version of Like a Prayer was suitably electrifying, while their ensemble performance of Wisemen was interesting to say the least. Boarding and Day houses, Hall and Fonthill's rendition of Counting Stars was impressive, but it was their enthusiastic and well-choreographed performance of I Need a Hero that took the best house song award. There was a wonderful atmosphere throughout the day and much fun had by all throughout the event.
