Kingswood School is fortunate to have extensive sporting facilities based on three sites.
The Upper fields, located on the top of Lansdown, benefit from sixty acres of land and a stunning Pavilion overlooking the grounds. It has a new flood-lit Astro-Turf and practice area. In addition, eight rugby pitches are marked out, and various soccer pitches during the first two terms, whilst in the Summer term there are three cricket squares, ten tennis courts - which are used for netball in the second term - and a fully equipped 400 metre grass athletics track.
The Middle field is eleven acres of grassland and consists of a rugby pitch with training grids and a soccer pitch in the first two terms. In the summer term there is a 200 metre grass track marked out and various rounders' pitches.
The Main School incorporates a brand new Astro Turf surface providing a full-size, flood-lit hockey pitch surrounded by fencing, and a mini-Astro w ich is primarily a cricket net area but provides a useful recreational facility for activities all year round.
Indoor facilities comprise a Sports Hall with markings for badminton, netball, tennis, volleyball, indoor hockey and five-a-side football. There is a brand new climbing wall at one end of the Sports Hall and four indoor cricket nets with suitable matting. Adjacent to the Sports Hall are two squash courts and a fully-equipped fitness room. The indoor heated swimming pool has four lanes and there are changing facilities for boys and girls and a spectators' gallery.
