Boarders at Kingswood are very busy and every weekend there are lots of activities planned both in an out of school. The activities are planned by the students and boarding staff and ideas are warmly welcome.
Over the last two terms some of the activities have included: camping trips, visit to Bowood House, hiking, House music competitions, film nights, visit to Thorpe Park, taking part in the Malawi market charity event, open top bus and circuit of Bath walk, shopping trips to Cabot Circus, Advent dinner and service, visit to Fleet Air Arm Museum, trampolining and shopping trip to Swindon, visit to Bristol Zoo, shopping at the Bath Christmas Market, Burns' Night dinner and ceilidh, Pantomime, watching Bristol Rugby, visit to Drayton Manor, Kingswood Bake Off, New Year party, Ten Tors training walk, visit to Explore @Bristol and the MUN conference.
All the Westwood boarders are involved in events each weekend. However, as workloads get tougher, not every senior student is required to attend activities every weekend. However we do encourage as many people as possible to get involved.
In addition, there is a busy schedule of sports fixtures on Saturdays which many of the boarders are involved with and active outdoor pursuits programme., You can download the latest weekend Activities Dates for your calendar.
A calendar of Term Dates is available online and is also sent to all parents each term.
