These days British boarding schools are following the lead of the top UK universities and welcome students not only from the UK, but from all corners of the world. Although at Kingswood our boarding population is primarily British, we welcome students from Africa, Asia, Russia, Europe, the Middle East as well as expatriate families and those whose parents are members of the Armed Forces. It is important at Kingswood to have a diverse cohort of interesting young people, all with differing strengths. There is no doubt that learning to live in harmony, discovering new friendships and becoming more independent really helps boarders develop a strength of character that will last them throughout their lives. You can read some of our current boarders stories: Year 9 boarding case study and Year 10 boarding case study.
