Fonthill welcomed local community for an Afternoon Tea

Serving the Community is very much at the heart of Kingswood and is one of our four strategy pillars. We believe it is vital that our young people appreciate the community they live in and contributes positively to its culture and atmosphere. We offer opportunities for all our pupils to develop as a global citizen, our partnerships strategy links our pupils with other young people, both locally and around the world.

In the last week of our Spring Term, members from our Senior Girls House, Fonthill, welcomed guests from our local community for an afternoon of company and tea in the Kingswood Pavilion. Pupils from Years 9 baked delicious cakes and made beautiful cards for their guests, while musical members of Fonthill sang and played songs on the piano. A wonderful and inspiring way for our pupils to engage with the local community whilst also enjoying delicious tea and homemade cake too!

With great thanks to our staff who helped to arrange this event also.
