Townsend History Prize 2023

Our Prep and Senior School have submitted talented historians to compete in the Townsend-Warner History Prize, a national competition for students in Years 6-8. The competition encourages historical reading, facts, and analysis. It has produced many remarkable winners over its 138-year history, with over 1,000 participants annually. This year, Reli from our Prep School demonstrated exceptional knowledge, and several other of our Year 6 and 7 students gave great answers. Huge congratulations goes to our Year 7 pupil, Oscar, who has made it to the final round for the second year in a row, despite the competition being primarily for Year 8 pupils. Well done Oscar!
