Six babies in six days

The annual Malawi Market took place last Friday evening. The stalls were set out in the Dining Hall and Cusworth Room, mulled wine, coffee and mince pies were on sale in the servery and there was a BBQ in Theatre Quad. The Market opened at 6.30pm and was busy throughout the evening until 8.30pm when the raffle took place.

The Kingswood Association is delighted to announce the election of a new President to succeed Robert Sandry.

Sarah Beresford-Smith was unanimously elected at the recent AGM having been proposed by a sub-committee of the Association Executive. Sarah has been an active member of the Executive for several years and was a pupil from 1979-1986. While at Kingswood Sarah was Head Girl and she now has a son in the School. Her father, brother and two uncles were all educated at Kingswood.

During the summer holidays, Oscar Batterham recorded and filmed his beautiful version of Schubert's song Du Bist Die Ruh. Oscar first sang this at last year's Solace concert, and the Music Staff were so impressed they decided to record it for posterity.
