Kingswood is proud of its global outlook in welcoming students from around the world. The diversity of the community is of great benefit to all. Pupils who live in the local area or in other parts of the UK value the friendships they make with pupils whose families live overseas. Both can learn from each other, sharing knowledge and the experience of different cultures and language whilst enjoying the value of an excellent British education together.
Kingswood Prep School is very happy to welcome pupils from different countries so that they can be fully immersed in a traditional English boarding school ethos.
Members of staff from Kingswood visit a number of overseas countries each year to meet personally with families who are interested in learning more about Kingswood. During these meetings, prospective pupils can be interviewed and it is often possible to introduce current families who are already part of the Kingswood community and who can share their experiences.
When a new international student arrives at Kingswood Prep School, support with English as an additional language is provided through one of our experienced EAL Support Teaching Staff. Lessons are arranged on an individual basis according to the level of support required.
To assist families who live outside the UK and who are unable to make a personal visit to Kingswood Prep School, there is an established network of overseas agents based in countries around the world, representing Kingswood School who are able to provide information, advice and assistance with the application process.
