Last Sunday was the first orienteering league event of the new year at Headless Hill in the Forest of Dean. The Kingswood runners had some excellent results however, most impressive was that of Ollie. He ran up to the harder yellow course and won this outright, beating one of Kingswood’s fastest Year 7 pupils.
Just over a minute behind were Charlie and Ella who both won their respective Year 6 classes. Kingswood took the first two places on the white course with Tom winning exactly one minute ahead of Alex, who is still only a Year 4. Kingswood remain in the lead in the league and individually. However there is still plenty to play for with three events still to take place.
