The Great Kingswood Poetry Competition 2009

It's that time of year again!  To coincide with National Poetry Day on 8th October, we have launched Kingswood's own poetry competition! Now in its third year the competition is open to all students at Kingswood Senior School, and prizes are awarded for the best poems in year, with the overall winner being awarded the Kingswood Poetry Cup, held for one year by the successful poet! The theme this year is Heroes and Heroines. The quality of writing from our students had always been very high, so we look forward to plenty of inspired and inspiring verse!  The closing date is Friday 6th November, and entry forms are available from the English staff.
