Circuit of Bath Walk

On Sunday, fortified by the usual fantastic brunch, a group of Year 9 boarders tackled a stretch of the skyline Circuit of Bath walk to raise money for Julian House. Accompanied by Mr Davies, complete with Gaby in backpack and Tip the dog, Mr Hills and Mrs Dawson, they made it round in super-quick time, fortified by chocolate bars and much-needed water on the top of Solsbury Hill. The staff were impressed by the pupils' cheerful attitude and enthusiasm (for the most part!). Undeterred by a few blisters, most went on to make the most of the beautiful weather by spending the rest of the afternoon in town. Even more intrepid were ten students who ran the same section, urged on by Mr Opie. Their reward was a very well deserved ice cream! Well done on a great effort!
