Music is the emotional heart of Kingswood. The Department strives to give every pupil a positive musical education full of stimulating, relevant and challenging adventures! From daily individual recording sessions to collective hymn singing at weekly Whole School Services, from regular evening concerts to classroom performances, music is a shared experience which embraces the whole Kingswood community. At its core lies classroom teaching, a vibrant mix of listening, performing and composing. For all, we hope this ignites a spark of musical interest and curiosity that will be life-long. For many, the learning of an instrument and participation in music-making - both in and outside the classroom - is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences of their formative years.
