Chapel & Community
Regular Chapel and a weekly service contribute to the School's sense of community and serve to focus attention on the needs of the wider community. There is always a range of fund-raising activities taking place at the School for a wide array of charities. Some are based locally, such as the hospice Dorothy House and Julian House, for the homeless, whilst some are national, such as Marie Curie Cancer Care and Help the Aged. Others serve worldwide needs, such as Hope & Homes for Children and Christian Aid.

Thousands of pounds are normally raised annually. In addition, some of our boys and girls engage in community service and a number undertake voluntary work overseas as part of their gap year between school and university. We have particularly strong links with projects connected with the Methodist Relief and Development Fund.
