Kingswood School Under 15s made light of the monsoon conditions and Dauntsey's big pack on their Daily Mail/RSB debut this week by scoring five of the six tries. The Devizes side looked threatening at times, though, and could well make a serious impact on the season.

Owen Waters and Dominic Mackenzie formed a dangerous partnership for Kingswood in the centre and both scored tries. Waters kicked five out of six conversions before full back Parimal Shrestha opened the floodgates. His safe hands and running did not go unnoticed by the watching John Palmer, former England and Bath Centre, who now works for his former club's academy. The England and Bath connection did not end there with Ethan Chilcott following in the footsteps of his dad, Gareth, by plying his trade in the front row. Kingswood's Director of Sport, Tim Reeman, said: ‘Our intensity and keenness sets us apart'.
