Kingswood School students are once again celebrating a year of outstanding success at A Level

Kingswood School students are once again celebrating a year of outstanding success at A Level, with 18% of all grades at A*, 57% at A*/A, 84% at A*-B and a 100% pass rate. An impressive 36 students achieved at least 3 A*/A grades; amongst these the very top performers were Gareth England, Alfred Ireland and Henry Legge, who each achieved four A* grades, and Louis Lee and Katie Phillips, each with 3 A* grades.

AS Level results were also excellent, with over 70% of all entries being graded A or B. Of the 30 students who achieved at least 3 A grades, 5 students – John Chan, Roy Chan, Alex Hardman, Elizabeth Hatherell and Tim Woodhead – achieved 5 A grades each.

Headmaster Simon Morris said, 'I am delighted to see our senior students continuing to achieve such impressive academic results. Our leaving Upper Sixth showed tremendous leadership in many areas of school life and it is most fitting that they should now be rewarded with such fine overall results. This is, of course, a great tribute to their talent and attitude and I am sure they would also want to cite the outstanding teaching which will have guided them towards such high levels of success.'
