Children from Year 4 at Kingswood Prep School had a memorable day at Folly Farm in the Mendips. The children learnt that the Vikings were much more farmers than raiders, and they learnt several of the crafts that they would have had to have done if they had been Viking children. Crafts included weaving mini hurdles, making felt and they thoroughly enjoyed getting really muddy making wattle and daub “… very messy but great fun!”
