Kingswood Musicians play at the East India Club

On Friday11 June, some of Kingswood's most talented musicians visited the East India Club in London to provide musical entertainment for a Kingswood Association event.

The string quartet of Roy Chan, Tamsin Ireland, Martha Chilver Vaughan and Katja Cross performed a first half of classical favourites including works by Bach, Mozart, Peter Warlock and Karl Jenkins. Sam Mumford, Katy Proctor, Alex Greig, Ralph Eliot, Matt Dabell and Joe Stansfield played a range of jazz standards in the second half including God Bless The Child, Cantaloupe Island, Dear Old Stockholm (we also got away with a sneaky version of Kylie Minogue's Can't Get You Out of My Head!. Toby Russell also accompanied the musicians in order to film the event for the website. Many thanks to all of the performers for their excellent playing and good company.
