The Pre-Prep children at Kingswood Prep School have been busy getting green fingers this year after the development of new raised beds on our School field. With the help of Annabel Mottershead, our school gardener, the children have helped to dig and plant a variety of vegetables using trowels, rakes and wheelbarrows. We have named each set of seeds with stakes. Each week the children have watered and cared for their growing produce and soon they will be ready to be picked and incorporated into our lunch menu. They have worked together and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the fruits of their labour! We are hoping to plant some winter vegetables in the Autumn Term.
