The Friends of Kingswood's Folk Evening featured this most wonderful singer/songwriter who was awarded Folk Singer of the Year 2011 by BBC Radio 2. Year 10 student band “The Core” opened the show with their self-penned song “Seventeen”, followed by three traditional solo tunes from Tom Connolly's fiddle and a solo from Mr Mainwaring.  Chris then played two sets of wonderfully crafted songs, including perhaps his most notable (Radio 2 Best Original Song), Hollowpoint.  The following morning, Chris also performed two songs for the Senior's Whole School Service.
