Friends of Kingswood Senior School

Friends of Kingswood Senior School is a lively parents' group whose primary aim is to bring both current and past parents and friends together at a number of fun events where they can meet each other and socialise.

Functions include Balls, Quiz Evenings, Hog Roasts and Drinks Parties to name just a few. The Friends also support events run by the school, such as the annual Model United Nations and KATS, the awards ceremony which celebrates 'Kingswood Artistically Talented Students'. Support is given to the music department who put on a number of hugely enjoyable events every year. The Friends run bars at various theatre productions and oversee the nearly new uniform shop. Revenue generated by such activities have been used to purchase specialised items such as sound equipment and cricket covers. We have a “wish list” to which any department in the school can add a request. The Friends' activities are reported in the weekly newsletter and on the school's website. Class representatives help the Friends keep in contact with parents. The committee welcomes new members throughout the year.
