When Canadian dentist Nicholas Kemp decided to call in on his old School on a visit to his native Bath, little did he realise that he would bump into his old friend and now President of the Kingswood Association, Robert Sandry.   Nicholas and Robert were not only in the same year at Kingswood, but also in the same House!

Nick was one of only a few day boys in his year and emigrated to Toronto many years ago.   On his earlier visits to Bath to keep in touch with his family, he had not been able to visit the School, but decided on this occasion to renew his memories.   Despite the passage of time since leaving Kingswood in 1965, he was still able to recognise many of his old haunts on his tour with Marketing Assistant Philippa Watts.

Robert was on one of his many visits to the School to meet with the Development Director, Angela Dudley-Warde and her team.   Both he and Nick had no idea that they were each going to be visiting on the same day.  They had last corresponded two years ago when Robert was organising a reunion for his generation and Nick admitted that he had since lost Robert’s email address –  and had recently changed his own address details.   He therefore took the opportunity to update his records on Connections@kingswood and promised to do his best to come to the next reunion.

A small world indeed!
