From early years the children of the Preparatory School become used to those gatherings called assemblies. Whilst some will focus on celebrating success, delivering news or the routines of the day, the School also upholds its Christian heritage within those times of coming together in the morning.

Story telling, music making and life – skills imparting, they promote fun and a sense of joy in a school that is glad to muster. In religious terms there is no sense of protected exclusivity. Major Christian festivals will be celebrated alongside those of other traditions and a sense of honouring all major faiths is fostered. In these early years, the thrill to be found in exploration and discovery is uppermost in the minds of those who lead worship within the school.

The Chaplain is someone who sets out to be seen and known and who provides a continuity in the patterns of life that progress into senior years.
